Our project aims to bring people in Tiree together across the generations at Skerryvore Lighthouse Shore Station!

The project, although focused on the young people of Tiree, will be intergenerational. Over the next two years and beyond, we aim to upgrade the Skerryvore Lighthouse Exhibition.

A member of the Screen Argyll team has agreed to lead on the project and to involve our young people in the creation of narrative and distribution of the exhibition across the site.

We would also like to engage youth representatives from the island to work alongside the Board of Trustees, fund training sessions and give our next generation a strong voice in the development of the site. We already have significant engagement with our young people who attend a summer programme of events on site, winter activities, films, tours and take an active role in community open days.
