We are delighted to confirm that on 28^th January 2025, The Hebridean Trust was converted into a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO).    

The way that the conversion has worked in law means that The Hebridean Trust, which was a company limited by guarantee, is now a SCIO.  We can confirm that the legislation states that assets and liabilities (including contracts) of the Hebridean Trust have automatically become assets and liabilities of the SCIO from the conversion date.   

We have taken this opportunity to change the name of the organisation to the Hynish Trust. Our address and contact details have been updated and can be found in the footer of every page.
